President Donald Trump will deliver a “fascination” book to President Barack Obama this week, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
Trump is set to deliver the book to Obama in Washington, DC, as he considers whether to accept a new offer from the Democratic leader.
Trump and Obama had a long and tumultuous relationship that started when Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey in May, alleging Comey had leaked memos to the media about his interactions with Trump.
Trump and the FBI declined to comment on the report, but White House press secretary Sean Spicer said the book will not contain any classified information.
The president’s book will be titled “The Art of the Deal,” a source told the Journal, describing it as “an inside look at the workings of the American government”.
Trump has been considering accepting the offer for months.
Trump met with Obama at the White House in March.
He has not yet been seen at a book signing or given a copy of the book.
The book, titled “How to Win Friends and Influence People,” will be published by Penguin Random House on May 13, according to the Wall Street Journa l.
